My breakfast of choice today is a juicing!! I love beets so I decided I would make my smoothie with beets today. It was very refreshing and sweet. Try it out and let me know what you think.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 1/2 medium sized beet (beet root),
- 1/2 small apple
- 1/2 small banana
- 1 kale leave, 1/2 cup of water
I use a Nutri Bullet to make it. I like my juices chunky because it tricks my mind, it makes me feel like i’m eating.
I’ll be juicing a lot more than usual over the next 2 weeks, 3x’s a day to add to my protein packed meals. I will be eating 1-2 meals a day packed with solid proteins, veggie and grains. And snack in between will be light things like almonds, cashews, tomato slices, handful of air popped popcorn, sugar free natural apple sauce, avocado slices etc
