Low Calorie Chocolate Banana Pancakes

These pancakes are guilt free, super simple to make, and delicious. Pair them up with some scrambled or over easy eggs, and breakfast meat if you like. Remember, pancakes aren’t just for breakfast. You can have them at anytime of the day. I had mine for lunch today with 2 scrambled egg whites.

WHAT YOU NEED

**This serves 2-3 people

– 1 egg

– 1/2 scoop of chocolate protein powder “chocolate” flavor by Designer Whey

– 1 cup of 1% milk (I drink dairy free milk regular 1% is fine to use)

– 1 cup of whole wheat pancake mix (any brand is fine as long as it’s 100% whole wheat)

– 1 small banana

– Ground cinnamon

– Natural agave syrup

 HOW TO PREPARE

Mix in a bowl with a fork, 1 whole egg or egg white, milk, whole wheat pancake mix and the protein powder. Don’t over mix, make sure it’s still a little thick, not too lumpy and definitely not thin like water.  In a separate bowl, cut your banana into small round slices. In a non stick pan, cover with cooking spray, heat, then add your pancake mix to make a round pancake. When done, put them in a container that will keep them warm. Wipe down your pan to re use. Add more cooking spray, add your banana slices, put a pinch of cinnamon over them, move them around just enough to heat them up and until they have a light golden coat to their tops. Put the pancakes on a dish, add slices of bananas on top, and put the serving size of Agave syrup and SERVE! Enjoy 🙂
