Low Calorie Recipe: Lemon Pepper Green Beans, Vegan

If you’re tired of your veggies being boring and flavorless. This recipe is for you. I often make my veggies with new twists because I get bored easily.  The key is to not get bored while on this fitness journey or you may get discouraged and give up. Check out this fabulous recipe that’s very easy and quick to make.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Fresh or frozen green bens, sliced or whole are fine
  • Mrs Dash lemon pepper seasoning
  • Fresh lemons
  • Ground pepper
  • Sea salt
  • Onions
  • Fresh garlic

HOW TO PREPARE

This is super simple and quick to make. Die your onions and garlic. Wash your green beans. Spray and heat a non stick pan with cooking spray. Put the diced onions and garlic, sauté until golden, then add the green beans in the pan. Season the green beans while cooking with Mrs Dash, a pinch of sea salt, ground pepper, and squeeze ½  a fresh lemon over it. There is no time frame to cook this in, they just need to be soft, this can take up to 10 minutes sometimes 15. Stirr until ready. This is a simple yet tasty recipe to make. Enjoy
