When you are pregnant, your body is working so much harder to get blood throughout your body and through the body of your growing baby. Poor circulation during pregnancy can cause swelling (usually in your feet and legs), exhaustion, headaches, and so much more. But there are ways to help prevent those annoying discomforts…besides relaxing with your feet up.
Sometimes your calves may start to cramp up or legs feel like they are “falling asleep,” so here are a few stretches that can be done everyday while you’re sitting on the couch, standing in line at the grocery store, or whenever you are feeling some discomfort in your feet or legs.
